Long Live the Leggings!!!
I am so angry with Minnesota right now. I keep on thinking that spring is right around the corner and then we are hit with another insane amount of snow. We are right now as we speak gearing up for a possible 18” snow fall by Wednesday, and I have been spring fashion planning for quite sometime now. The winter sunshine is just a tease. I guess I should blame my parents for raising me in this blistery hell on earth (for the moment).
On a lighter note I went shopping this weekend with my best friend and my God daughter and ventured into Torrid. I have shopped at Torrid off and on for quite some time but I don’t really find much in the store that I get too excited about. Everyone who knows me knows that every piece of clothing that I own has to be centered around wearing leggings because they are truly the most comfortable clothing item that I own and I can live in them year round.A lot of people say fat people shouldn’t wear leggings but I say eff off, I love them! I am so happy that Torrid’s leggings are AMAZING! They are thicker so they last longer than any pair I have ever owned. I buy leggings like I change my socks and I have noticed that the ones that I once loved from Target have gotten really cheaply made and get holes within a week of wearing them. Holy leggings are just not a good look unless you are apart of that emo/punk crowd, love the style just not for me. So big huge massive thank you to Torrid for making my love of leggings live on. I have only ever owned one pair of brown leggings from torrid and they are about 4 years old and just got a hole recently so you can see that they last a long time. I was a bit unsure about the sizing so I tried a 3 on while I was in the store. I run in the 22-26 pant size range depending on the store, and I’m happy to report that the 3’s were slightly too big. Leggings should in fact fit snugly with no creasing or bunching. I ended up getting the 2’s and when I got home tried them on and they are perfect, don’t be afraid to size down but if you dry them I would stay true to your size, I don’t dry anything so the 2’s are perfect for me. Hooray for Torrid Leggings.
