Salvation Army
I absolutely love finding things at local thrift stores and Minneapolis definitely has no shortage of them. I have been wanting to visit the Downtown Salvation Army for quite some time because they have a basement filled with salvaged target items. For those of you who don’t have Target where you live like my baby sis who is all the way in Canada consider yourselves lucky or you would be uber broke.
I finally took a day now that I have the free time and went thrifting with my little nugget Leann and it was an effing blast. When I walked in I spotted a pair of shoes that were so cute I couldn’t resist and totally circa like 1987. I am really into the cold detailing on things lately and have fallen prey to the stud phenomena so these shoes were a must and at $4 I couldn’t go wrong.
I also have been on the hunt for the perfect school bag and found the one below for $8 and I love it, Carry’s all my text books perfectly, fits comfortably, and is ready for the ipad that will be transported in it come Friday.
To top off my thrift trip I found these adorable accent pillows for my bed that I fell in love with and matched all my bedroom accessories perfectly.
Overall I have to say great trip, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the clothing at this particular location unless you have literally an entire day to look at EVERYTHING, and I of course did not.

Love, Catrice
