I have taken a much needed “staycation” on my living room couch, after being laid off from the lovely Peppermint Park, and getting into the swing of Grad school. However, I have had no shortage of blog reads, and fashion followings. I have been really thinking about the direction of my blog but since I do this really as a hobby and not a career I figured that sticking to my OOTD mirror shots, and commentary about whats new in the plus fashion world is really where my heart is.

I have been drooling over a few spring lines that are finding their way up onto my fashion inspiration wall that are inspiring my look and purchases as the weather gets warmer. I first have to dive into my love of Alexander Mcqueen. My final blog post for Pepeprmintpark was on the designer and I die for the pairing of blush tones with black for spring just as the design house has done for S/S 2011. Obviously as a plus size girl I am restricted to shoes and Accessories from my favorite designer so I have been on the hunt for the same color palette and similar items. If you are not hip to Carmakoma than you better get on board because the hot Plus Line from Sweden is on point whit their Spring 2011 line and the parallel to Alexander Mcqueen is insane. I am pretty much in love with everything but have compiled my list of essential pieces that will make up my spring wardrobe and I’m equally as excited that I can feel Alexander Mcqueen coming through on each style. Can you see the similarities?
