Norma Kamali

I was recently doing some reading on Fall/Winter Fashion 2010 and for those of you who are loving the idea of designer on a budget I had to share with you the new line by Norma Kamali for Wal-Mart. I have to admitt I am an avid Target shopper but I discovered the most awesome Wal-Mart in the Twin Cities in St. Anthony/Northeast Minneapolis which happens to be just near Plum’s Plus a popular plus size consignment shop.
Ok ok back to Norma Kamali, so this line is under $20 for the most part and features a few pieces that I think will fit into what I would call my simplistic/monochromatic fall wardrobe. Norma Kamali’s vision for her fall 2010 line that debuted at last seasons New York Fashion weeks was “The Democratization of Fashion” she explained that her inspiration was derived from today’s advancing thechnology which I though she executed well, she uses a lot of grey and black in her pieces which I feel are colors that can make an entire wardrobe. I have to say that I love the graphic tee’s she has produced for walmart and I will be placing my order today. Oh! and I didnt mention that most of the items are made of a stretch knit, with sizing up to XXL based on the reviews the line sounds like it will work well for us FATshionistas.

My picks:
Photo 1) All-in-One Jersey knit dress $24.00
Photo 2) Scoop hem lightening tunic $6.00
Photo 3) Batwing Cardigan $18.00
